Bangladesh included Lata Mondal in one of the five changes in his team for the four T20Is and one ODI against Pakistan, starting on October 2. The speedy bomber Lily Rani Biswas was eliminated from the team that played in the Qualified Women's World Cup T20 in Ireland in July. The other inclusions are Ritu Moni, the hitter Sharmin Akhter, the pacemaker Suraya Azmin of 19 years and the batter of 18 years Murshida Khatun. Lata, Suraya and Murshida were waiting for the qualifiers.
The changes were made taking into account the big picture – the T20 Women's World Cup in November – for which Bangladesh plays this four-game T20I series against Pakistan. These players will have the opportunity to bet their claim on that team.
Lata, who has 52 international appearances, played for the last time for Bangladesh in January 2017, when he only made four runs in three ODI against South Africa. But he impressed with his fitness and training in recent months, as did Ritu Moni, a fast bowler. Sharmin is being considered a hitting option, while Suraya and Murshida are promising young cricketers.
The four T20Is are scheduled to take place on October 2, 4, 5 and 6, and the lone ODI will take place on October 8. All matches will take place at Cox & # 39; s Bazar.
